Default Your account has not been activated.....

    Hi

I have followed the instructions and now have my new password. When I try to login I get the message

"Your account has not been activated. Please check your e-mail and click the activation link inside"

The email I received just had my new password and links to the board, it did not have an activation link

    Regards

    David Thomas

I had this problem for a while too. I believe it is related to allowing all forms of mobile code to execute on your machine. It has something to do with the encryption of your password before being sent back to the server, I think. Do you guys have a robust firewall? I find you have to give this site many permissions for it to allow you to log in. You also need to permit persistent cookies. I am now activated and logged in, but it is a verrrrry slow experience for me.

Same for me. I spent over 45 minutes requesting and trying passwords. What is the solution?

Allow mobile code (all forms of scripting and embedded objects) plus allow persistent and session cookies for this site. Your password needs to encryted and I suppose security/session info stored in a cookie. You can't log in until this is enabled on your machine for this particular site.

I struggled with this for almost an hour. When I allowed those things I just mentioned, the problem went away.

Same problem for me. An explanation of how to allow "all forms of scripting and embedded objects" would be helpful.

I want to really thank Jeff Hamilton for getting me logged into the new system. He worked miracles on his end.

    Thanks Jeff.

I logged in with no problem but the log at the bottom shows me as a visitor. How do I correct this? Wm Mittelstadt
