Here are a couple of pictures of the lume on the Maratac watch that I quickly took with my iPhone (not the best quality pictures though).

I very rarely wear a wristwatch (pocket watches are really my "thing"), but I found myself wearing this one tonight when my wife and I went out to dinner. It is a LeCoultre cal. 450 in stainless steel. I believe this one dates from the 1940s.

What a lovely old watch Jerry. One to treasure I'm sure.

Thanks for the words of appreciation. This was inherited from my wife's stepdad.

I agree, that's a nice wrist watch, Jerry. A lot of style, character, and quality. In addition, that's a very interesting cap-jewel setting on the balance. The case has that clean Patek Calatrava look. I don't know who came up with the style first, but it's a winner to my eye. Cheers.

An impulse buy: HMT (Hindustan Machine Works, India), 17-j, luminous dial. HMT collabarated with Citizen at the beginning and shut down watch production in Sep 2016.

Wearing this today owned this old Seiko quartz 7548 diver the longest of any watch bought it at the ships store when in the US Navy in 1983 and wore it every day until I retired from the US Navy in 2002 it took a beating and kept on ticking.

The four watches I am wearing today.

One of them obviously has stopped. This is why I wear them. To see how well they work.

Just got this back from RGM after getting it serviced. A early Sinn 103 with hand wind 7760 movement from the late 1980's or early 1990's. Got a special hand set and a single date and no day of the week. The sweep hand looks like what's on a German issued Heuer Bund a little different than most Sinn 103 love how the lume aged.

Speaking of aged. This is on my wrist today, though the photo is from a while back. Keeps very good time despite how it looks.
