Citizen stem removal...

Hello...

I'm getting grey hairs from this movement: Citizen cal. 7302A.

I can't get the stem out! I have tried looking under great magnification, while working the stem in and out, looking for a place to press.

But i can't find it!!

Anyone know where to press, or maybe where i can get a service manual for that movement, so i can look up, how to get the stem out?

I do know for a fact that Citizen sources many of their movements from Miyota, a Japanese movement manufacturer. Go to Miyota's movement page here:

http://www.citizen.co.jp/miyota_mvt/

and try searching for your movement. One small trick that I have successfully tried is the following: The last two digits of your movement "02" are usually the same as those of a Miyota movement, while the first two numbers/letters are usually different. Look under the drop-down links on the left and click on all "02" suffix movements...you might find your movement.

But i found out, by asking another person...

I needed to lift the set lever, then the stem popped right out...

I need to replace the 2105 quartz for my watch. I have the spare part mvt but do not know how to remove the crown and stem , and the hour/minute/second hands. Need a quick tip on how to remove the stem and crown first. Saw that you solve your problem. can share. thanks in advance
