Here is the dial Dial The case serial number is K381406. Actually, they are both older cameras-I purchased the newer one used. I was using a Sony Mavica MVC-FD-91. The newer one is a Sony MVC-FD90. The FD90 only does still photos and the 91 does sound and 15 seconds of video-too many unecessary frills for taking pics of watches. The only problem is now I feel like I need to take a lot of new photos!

Here is some trivia for you.
The early fancy patterns in the bridges was called Damaskeening, but the later straight line pattern was called Millaskeening. At least this was a term Hamilton used internally.

Terry,
Do you if any of Art Zimmerla 992B papers are available for NAWCC members to view?

Terry,
You are correct. In 1952 Hamilton discontinued damaskeening in favor of "milliskeening". "Milliskeening" was done by using a canted end mill.Member: NAWCC Chapter 58, 149

Snide,
Pretty good shots.
Now try practicing with the macro - get in there real close. Taking good photos of pocket watches is an art, and just requires practice with different camera settings and different lighting. Here's an example . . .

Cort - I use a Konica-Minolta Dimage Z20. I looked at a lot of cameras trying to find a super-macro; this little jewel takes great photos at incredibly close focal lengths. The results are pretty good, I think . . .

Pat-
GREAT photos-I did not have much luck using the Macro on the camera but I was able to put an eye loupe on the lens and got thisI'll have to experiment with the macro. When I purchase my next camera I'll look into a Konica-Minolta.
