Default Paul Buhre 14k chronograph pocket watch

I have #21136 pocket watch chronograph from 1880s, retailed by Paul Buhre in Russia. I have never seen bridges like this and the chronograph system is not typical for Lecoultre. Could this be Louis Audemars or some one else ?

LA 21136 was a bridge movement dated 1876 (work in progress), of 19 lignes (say 43mm). Stem-wound, hunter.
"Montre simple" - i.e. no mention of a complication at that time.

I said Aubert freres, but I remembered badly. Was Adrien Aubert from Derriere la Cote.US Pat. No. 296663A of 1884

In Joel Pynson's book "Le chronographe de poche suisse" on p. 52 a chronograph by Leopold Huguenin
On pag. 53 chronograph by E. Huguenin with engraved Aubert patent. On pag. 152 a chronograph like the one in question but with the button at nine o'clock
I did not find much news about Adrien Aubert, who was a raw movement maker and promoter of a watchmaking school.

For what it's worth, I have two references, dated 1870 and 1872, to an Adrien Aubert doing work for LA......

I didn't find any information about Adrien Aubert, but I've seen some LA Hight grade chronographs like no other one. Buhre was a customer of LA and Lecoultre, but this type chronograph system used only a few producers. Who can made this movement in 1880's -1890's? Serial number only one and it's Buhre number. I don't believe that Buhre can do it, it's not his level.

Enrico, you are - as always - absolutely right. Perhaps he "improved" with age! Perhaps he was someone else entirely........

My feeling is that whatever it is, it isn't LA work.

In any case, if Edgar's 1880-90 time frame is right then the (probably remote) LA possibility is only valid for five of those years.
Unlike the earlier history, those five are very well documented so there would still need to be a different serial number on the movement.

It might be interesting to see a clear photo of any punch marks inside the cuvette - case maker &c.

Ok, Paul. I'll do it tomorrow , but there is only 583 14k, 21136 and squirrel punch ( old Swiss export 14k punch) . No casemaker punch , no other numbers.

If that's all there is, don't bother. I hoped there would be something like an "MF" punch....................
