Default INSA Table Clock Stops if Sitting 90 Degrees Upright: Otherwise Runs Fine

Please help me with this table clock issue. Made in Yugoslavia, Brand: Insa. Alarm and winding keys work fine. Keeps time (needs some adjustment but can be done). Only thing that kills the charm- if the clock stands upright (90 degrees) the seconds dial stops and so is the clock. It runs ok from lying flat up to a 75-80 degrees upright position. Once it hits 90 degrees upright position, clock stops. It is cosmetically in beautiful condition. What could be the reason? Is it fixable by a person who has no clock mechanism knowledge? Or does not worth the time? Please help

The most common problem is dirty, or warn balance wheel pivots and bushings.

I have moved this thread to the clock repair forum where I think it might do better.

Tinker is correct. It was recently suggested that rotating the cups to a different position might help, but only if the balance wheel points are in good shape. If we could see what you have for a balance in that one it would help.

should i remove the back to tale pic? or i just leave it at 80 degrees? i guess i have no expertise to fix the identified problem.

Yes, remove the back and post a pic of the balance wheel (the one that oscillates back and forth)
