Default J. C. Brown 30 hr half column

Here is another of my recent purchases. A friend of mine was at a flea market and sent me a message if this clock was worth buying. As soon as I saw it was a J. C. Brown label, I knew I wanted it, and the price was right. From the research I was going from, it looks like this was a early to to mid 1840's label, which would precede the clock on the wall in the background, as it is a Forestville Manufacturing Company label. It appears to be the last label used by the company from about 1854-56.
