    I'm fairly sure that this is the original mechanism. I can't find an indication of pendulum length. The regulation is roughly correct now with this replacement pendulum setting. It's much, much lower than before the service. See original pendulum as comparison.

    Could be that the repairer swapped out the chain wheel for some reason... worn pivot, broken click etc. He may have installed one with a different tooth count by mistake and now you need the longer pendulum.

    I doubt a chain wheel would make it run fast. More likely the escapement wheel
    was replaced.
    It does look to be an unusual movement so not likely to be a replacement.
    I've not seen that coupling before for the music.
    One wonders if a 3 year sit in the shop that it may have been apart and
    lost a few pieces.
    It would be interesting to watch it running while viewing from the back side.
    A video would be a big help for us to help you.
