Default What is this tool? Broach holder?

Can you identify this tool for me and tell me or point me to a video that shows how to use it? It may have come with some broaches I ordered. Thanks

It is a tool to hold watch hands while you broach the hole. Put the hub end of the watch hand between the two halves, clamp it tightly, then broach the hole to so the hands will fit your watch.

It is rather a pearl holder (jeweller's tool).

    G'Day!

Just as Frank has said, it is a jewellers tool used for holding pearls in order to drill them, not a watchmaker's tool although it may look similar to a hand holding tool.

Thanks for solving this for me. I can see that it could be used to hold or clamp many odd-shaped items for drilling.
    -Pearls
    -Watch hands
    -Bead work
    -Jewelry
    - ??

    Essentially it's a clamp. Thanks
