Default E & GW Bartholomew Clock weights & pendulum

Today, a client brought in this clock, gained from an auction and missing parts, and would like me to provide him with new weights and a pendulum. Does anyone have any photos or drawings of what they are? Does anyone know the weight or length of the weights, or the pendulum. Thanks?

Default Re: E & GW Bartholomew Clock weights & pendulum (By: George Nelson)

The original weights would likely have been a bit larger than "OG" weights typically 3 to 3.5 lbs. but if your clock is in good condition it may run OK with 2.5 to 3 lbs. Here is a picture of a similar clock by a different maker with about the same movement showing a typical pendulum and weights. The style of the pendulum may differ but the size should be about the same. A closer determination of length can be calculated if you count the teeth on the wheels and pinions in the time train. Or start long and trim the leader until it keeps time.
