Default HAMILTON 980 ww2 time customized uniques?

I prefer the gold cased one, but the platinum New York jeweler made one maybe 1944 with an older 980 movement is most expensive. I assume the gold one was not a Hamilton design? Although it has 980 and Hamilton marked case and probably GILMAN model. artbissell

Here finally the fine r.r. watch maker in 1940 thought they had a good w.w. for pilots to use . Came with a spare unused Hamilton strap. art

Called a jobber's or Jeweler's case. It's where they take a Hamilton movement, make a dial and sell them off. None of those watches were sold or cataloged by Hamilton.

YES except the gold one with 8 diamonds has its original Hamilton marked case identical to the Hamilton Gilman I have with jeweler added decoration? Both with nicely finished identical cases. art

Yes, it's a Gilman customized. Quite stunning and unique looking. Large long watch that is good looking.
