    Default Question about Hermle 1161-850AS

I have a Sligh Grandfather clock with a Hermle movement 1161-850AS. It was make in 1986. When I look at the back there are to 90 deg levers on the top corners of the movement, does anyone know what they are? They can be moved to rest on each set of hammers for the chime and strike. Are they used for when the clock is moved?

    Thank you,
    Tom
