Yep! Pantera is my favorite band. Too bad that psycho murdered Dimebag.

Hmm. Now I suppose someone will tell me that this song does not mention a bathroom on the right!

Yes, that was tragic. Thinking back to those times I'm adding Seasons In the Abyss to this list.

From the Hootenanny era a great song by the "Pozo Seco" singers

"Time---oh good, good time. Where did you go".

Look it up on youtube---I remember it so well from that period in life.

Two of my favorite songs are "September Song" and "Autumn Leaves". Probably because September is my birthday month. Being well into the autumn season of my life, I am aware of the cycle of life (and the days dwindle down to a precious few) and time waits for no man. So I guess it is fitting that I love and respect my clocks as they mete out these precious minutes, hours, days, months and years.

Of course, Missy, no version of Autumn Leaves can compare with one of Victor Borge's renditions.

When the song was written longcase production in the UK was pretty much over, and the clocks were seen as old fashioned which explains the basis of the song.

This is a pleasing female rendition sprinkled throughout a CBC documentary called "Too Tall For the Shelf, The Grandfather Clock".

The first part is about the only watchmakers school left in Canada, then a piece about a train ride, then is the story of The Grandfather Clock.

Just drag the slider to the 24 minute mark for The Grandfather Clock but the whole thing is time well spent. It will play while you open another window and search the internet for pocket watches.
