Thread: American 102m

    Default American 102m

According to the 1903 catalog it was available in "straight line or buffed finish" gold plated. 140 beat movement.
Available with plain or ornamental dials. The catalog doesn't show the optional two jar mercury pendulum but i have seen several
and have two of the square corner model 101m with the mercury pendulums and fancy dial. The two mercury pendulums are identical
so i am confident they were factory supplied.
This pendulum is also mercury filled and was supplied with all the known shelf models using the 140 beat movement.
They sold for $50.00 which was certainly expensive in 1903.
