Antikythera mechanism- a 2000 year old geared astrolab
Learning the details of the
Antikythera mechanisma 2000 year 30 -70 brass gear astronomical computing device. Astonding that the Greeks had the mathematics and technical skills to build such a amazing device. Wikipedia has a great discription of the device and the History Channel has a Youtube presentation of the device.
