I found a full-size Kundo that needs one of the screws on the pendulum that holds the arm in place. I removed one of the other three screws to show what I'm looking for. Are these specialty clock-only type screws or are there other sources for something like this?

    Thanks...Kurt

The anchor is a solid anchor, Yes?
Which fork are you talking about? What plate # is the clock?
And could we get pic of the leveling foot you need?

Ebay often has parts and parts movements, should not be difficult to find.

Tony, check with Horolovar by email at horolovar@gmail.com or call at (740) 277-7083 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday, it is quite likely they will have the parts you need. For the mainspring barrel you need to check which back plate number is the one for your clock as that will determine the specs needed. The Schatz 53 ratchet is standard for that model.

Default Atmos 540 Door Glass Springs (By: John Hubby)

I am finding multiple failures, either just weakness or actual breakage on the springs supporting the front door on the Atmos 540-style clocks. The manufacturer will not sell me the springs ("we suggest you send the clock to us" - to which I responded that investing about $1,500 for shipping, insurance and service to replace springs worth a couple of dollars was wrong.

Does anyone have any of these springs available? I have an immediate need for six.

Currently working on a design idea for an improved spring, but my need is more urgent.

Default Niagara torsion clock (By: John Hubby)

    Good afternoon, all!

Ideally, would like to find a pendulum "bob" for a Niagara torsion clock. This is the version that looks a bit like two "bullets" with no actual adjustment system (adjustment is by lengthening or shortening effective suspension spring length).

Failing that, I might consider making one myself. I would very much like to have good photos, ideally with an embedded scale, dimensions and weight of the bob. This is for one of the squarish box Niagaras in which the pendulum is completely hidden inside.

    Thanks in advance!

    Tim,

Is the one on the right shown here what you are looking for?

Niagara was one of the names used for Tiffany Never-wind clocks.

Tim, in addition to the photos that Eric posted, could you post a photo of the adjustment mechanism you have? There were two different versions and although each one had the same basic pendulum design the attachment of the pendulum to the adjustment mechanism was quite different. One uses a hook on the bottom of the adjusting mechanism, the other has two notches in the bottom cap of the adjusting mechanism with a matching cut plate on the pendulum to fit to the notches.

    Good evening, Eric and John!

Eric: The one on the far right LOOKS like what I would need. Absent dimensions, of course, I can't be absolutely certain. I had one of the ones with the two spheres, the adjustable kind, like the one on the far left in your pictures, and it was far too large to fit into the space available. Besides, given that the adjustment mechanism on the suspension is intact, it would be incorrect for my clock.

That said, however, I can't tell if the way the one on the far right attaches would match my clock.

John: The adjustment mechanism I have has a very definite hook on which the bob hangs. I currently have a coil of lead fishing weight strip and some other weights hanging off that hook.

    Thanks!

    Best regards!

    Tim

    Hello,
The company I work has a lot of 3mm stainless nuts. We order certain product and the nut came with it. We do not need them. So our people just recycle them. We also have a lot of wave washer for 3mm screw. These wave washer is not stainless.
If any one need the 3mm stainless screw nuts or wave washers, please PM me, so I can mail to you.

Default Parts needed for a Kern U Sohne (By: John Hubby)

I am in need of parts for a Kern 400-day clock. The a spring break took out a row of teeth on the barrel.

    The clock is marked:

(This clock was purchased in German. The first 4 lines are not in Terwilliger’s book plate.)

    Kern u Sohne
    Germany
    No(0) Jewels
    Unadjusted

    K. U. S. MIV
    Germany

This clock matches plate #1340E in Terwilliger’s Book (1965).

I am in need of a spring barrel and the upper pendulum lock bracket that screws to the bottom of the back plate. Does anyone have or know where these parts could be obtained?

    Regards,

    Tunderer
