    Default anere guivre PW???

    Looking for info on a fusee driven PW. Flip style OF case with the name "anere guivre"....any info on this watch would be appreciated. Thanks!

    The "anere" is likely "ancre", and the "guivre" is likely "cuivre". Ancre is the French word for anchor which describes the type of escapement, and cuivre is French for copper, likely referring to the base metal in the case. Not enough here to really identify the watch, unfortunately. Are you able to supply any other information re: markings? Please idenify the markings as to whether they are on the case, or on the mechanical part (movement).
