    Default Bond & Sons chronometer

    Can anyone help me with a general idea of the manufacture date of a Bond &Son marine chronometer number 173? The mvt s/n ts 826. Thanks. George

    You could try Tony Mercer's book Chronometer Makers of the World. I don't have a copy but I understand it contains amongst other things lists of makers and serial numbers. Or maybe someone on the MB has a copy and may help.
