Rabbit asked me to post a photo of the intermediate wheels. I also posted one of the clock on the wall after finishing movement work. Running great.

Default Resch Single Weight (By: tarant)

This are my Resch single weight timepieces, both minis. They have an interior case height of 22.5" compared to the 29"-30" height of a standard case. The last picture shows one of the minis next to a Resch 2 weight.

Nice clock, but the mount bracket with rod gongs is a replacement.

Which is the dials diameter? 7 inches or less?
They looks like dwarfs/banthams (less common than minis).

I am hoping to get some opinions re: my newest Gebruder Resch "Remember" time only. First question is to dating. Serial number is 46901, trademark is Gebruder Resch GR, Remember. The only other examples I have seen online have the GR logo with the word Patented on the wood while my clock has the word Registered (earlier?). My guess is 1871 to 1874?

Second question is to restoration. It will need cleaning and oiling, but is currently running quite nicely. I have already replaced the weight with a more appropriate vienna style brass shell (this weight had an M [middle?] printed on it so I'm pretty sure it is not original). Dial is a replacement with a company from the early 1900's but is appealing. Hands may be new as well but again cosmetically nice. The top finials look too small compared to two other examples I have seen and the beat indicator seems all wrong (other examples show an R = A ). Of course this is all highly subjective but how much would you try to restore to a near original look? How about polishing the pendulum bob?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hands are original, but for the version with the black dial with gold numerals. Photo fromDean Kinard site.

On this clock, SN 47540 is Patent already. I still have no idea what was patented...
Clock was made probably in Ebensee factory, shortly after opening (ca 1871/72).
