I'm sure those same workers were in the tower "tinkering" with the clock movement or controller. You can see on the video that it doesn't look like the hour hand is moving properly, then suddenly it...

Hello all,
Well there wasn't much activity on this clock as far as responses, but I was able to uncover the story behind this clock. I now am the proud owner of this clock and am thrilled with...

Just wanted to share that someone has already "claimed" that St. Michael's is not the oldest functioning tower clock in the U.S.A.
The Old South Meeting house in Boston is having a Bell raising...
Here is the link to the newspaper article that printed yesterday. It is in the smaller Downtown Charleston local newspaper, but the Post and Courier will do a full write up when the restoration is...
I will look into the issue of Ivory or Bone while I'm investigating. To be honest though, when I was installing the new bronze bushings into the old "ivory" bushings for my temporary fix, the reamer...
Great idea Frank, and I also thought of that the other day. I actually have an old piano in my barn, that is too far gone, and it has real Ivory keys. I removed one, however the Ivory is pretty...
That is too funny, I know what you mean brother!
I actually have a small Enfield clock that I take with me on vacations and short trips.
It was a yardsale find and I think I have 5 bucks...
Hello all,
Okay, I'm sure I'm fixing to be flooded with numerous views on what the best bushing material is......and believe me I have read Wood, teflon, delrin, and brass, all are the best in...
Thanks, it was an awesome experience. I have only completed the time train, but the church was so pleased with the results they called the news in. Over the last year, I have worked out all the...

Hello Clock family,
Can anyone help clarify if I do indeed have a Thomas Wright from Birmingham England tall case movement? I took the dial off which is a terrible repaint, and was going to work on...
Hello,
Just wanted to show off and get a little info on this triple decker that has come into my possession this last week. Not sure if it will be mine permanently, but it has been "loaned to me"...
Thanks Harold,
Just thought it was pretty good ingenuity on some ones part. It took them a while to do that either way. :D
I will eventually get the proper glass, it will look much better to me...
