Irrespective of da exact chemical formulation of da fuel - does stiff need da alcohol lamp when he already has all da alternate heat sources?

Is stiff missing something? stiff has da butane, methane and acetylene (oxy) torches but no alcohol. Never owned da lazer but demo'd da heliarc and have da electric (and butane) soldering irons.

stiff has used da lazer and da heliarc. On da base metals da joints are more brittle than soldering or brazing. Dis probably isn't da long term solution.
