 I have a Hamilton Crown with "Rail Road" on the top of the crown. It looks like yellow gold or gold fill ( Haven't gotten a micro scope yet) It was found with the numbers 35251 Can you help me with what watch or group of pocket watches this goes to ? and hopefully a good book that might help me in being able to ID parts ? Thank you for taking time to post in this forum. [/LIST]

this crown was used mostly on wadsworth produced cases for Hamilton....
Models 2, 8, and 10.....
It could also be for the Keystone produced model 17 or the Star produced model 17 for Hamilton...
There is a slight shape (profile) difference between the earlier and later crowns....
The crown was used on the Bar-Over Crown cases.....not on other cases...
You can see images of these cases in the Shugart book.
