The NAWCC Library and Research Center has been notified that their bid of $4,400 to purchase Seth Thomas and General Time Corporation ephemera has been successful. The material includes:
22 ledgers named "Tower Clock Ledgers" dating from the 1820s to 1900s,
leather bound ledgers documenting various accounts from 1881 forward,
photographs of employees and works,
a handwritten ledger beginning 1826,
original handwritten Articles of Associations of Seth Thomas Clock Co. dated 1853,
original catalogs from the last 133 years (1868-2001),
numerous documents and materials from the General Time Corporation.
These materials will be a significant addition to our research library.
