Bill Kemp forwarded me a picture of an item he would like help with. This chronometer (http://web.infoave.net/~ehall/kempchrono.jpg) has a interesting case.

Does anyone know the story on it?

here is text extracted from his email to me.

It is a break circuit set up and the little brass handles on the ( bakelite or plastic ? ) case are a real mystery. Any thoughts you might have would be greatly appreciated.

Terry,
On page 399 of Marvin Whitneys book"Military Timepieces" there is a picture of an experimental Model 22 with break circuit devices on the upper pivot of the third wheel.Could this be similar to Bill Kemps 22?
