I have the following watch I need help
On:

Ill 18 size OG3L 11j Ser#126574 grade 2 marked
Geo Washington 0n the train bridge and
marked P.& K. on the barrel bridge.I have
attempted to find out what the initials P.& K.
stand for without success. For those with
access to vol2 Ill encyclopedia Ehrhardt
& Meggers page 284 item 3 shows indential marking in
a HG 2L Ser#141524 Columbia Grade.
Any suggestions or help is appreciated.

Hi Bernie -

Wish I could be of some help, but I have no idea what the P&K on these stands for.

In my notes I have "Geo. Washington"s with and without the P&K barrel bridge recorded, and those I have noted with the P&K are at serials ...

141524 (as you mentioned in IL book)

Those I do not have noted as P&K barrel bridge are at serials ...

Interesting that these marked vs. unmarked P&K seem to separate as higher and lower numbers, but of course it is hard to say much with a sample of only 10 watches.
