I HAVE A 3 WEIGHT REGULATOR MOVEMENT . I NEED TO KNOW IF THE HI-NOTE GONG GOES ON THE 1/4 ,1/2 AND 3/4 STRIKE AND THE LOW-PITCH GONG GOES OFF ON THE HOUR STRIKE ? OR IS THIS BACKWARDS ?? THANKS MIKE 0136966

Hi Mike-
There were a lot of ways it was done but the most common for the quarter-strikers was high/low for the quarters and low only for the hours. Your question seemed to imply you had only single note options for the quarters instead of the "ting-tang" two note one I'm used to seeing.
On the other hand, I could be missunderstanding your question and all you are asking is how to arrange your gongs in the case. If that's what you are after, then you have it correct: High note for the quarter hammer and low note for the hour hammer.
Hope that covers the question you were asking!!??
David.
