It's funny but sometimes the smallest little tool just makes my day. Here's a scan of my new little toy. It's a complete set and they originaly sold for 50 cents.

Here's what they are. More of an oddity really. Or should I say I've never seen a set.

Those are pretty cool! I knew they existed, as I've seen pictures of them in old catalogs, but I can't recall ever seeing any actual ones before.

The "Cap" is the dust cover of a pocket watch. These templates let you do your outline boxes for engraving.
Like Steve, I've only seen them in catalogs, at least before this set. :smile: From my collecting it's always this type of tool that's hard to find. They really didn't need them so to lay out the 50 cents would have been buying a luxury.

I knew what they were and have seen one or two strays over the years but a set in the
package, whoa. Delightful!
