I am restoring a New Haven "Waring" banjo clock. The mahogany throat frame has become unglued at all four joints. In examining the 4 pieces of frame before regluing I noticed two small pins protruding from of the top of the rectangular bottom portion of the clock that holds a reverse painted tablet. There are two small pins protruding from the vertical throat pieces. When reglued how is this throat frame held in place?
