Morning, Louis,
Congratulations on your new gift from the Lord! Now, your next job is to get Joe hooked on Pocket watches, preferably 18th century verge fusees , and then sign him up as the youngest member of NAWCC!! Good luck with your little one, and God Bless!
Every Good Wish,
Doc Mark

Louis, I'm confused... where is the pocket watch in the picture? I know you're planning on bringing Joe up right with a proper set of values and such... so SURELY he has a pocket watch by now. Or would that be a diaper watch?
Hmmmm.....
Maybe he's better off with a wrist watch at first.

Or to paraphrase an announcement from the Fredonia Watch company, as they neared the end of their stay and were in readying their machinery for their move to Peoria:
"Two of our finest employees have announced a brand new model from their factory today. It is a 7 pound 14 ounce Stemwinder and it is NOT going to Peoria!"
Congrats! Jeff Hess

Congrats on the new arrival!!! Although I thought you were going to say you bought the Mdl '92 Cr. St..
I recommend (for a good scare) the book "The Scientist in the Crib". Possibly hard to find in Germany, but a fascinating look at what babies know and when they know it. They are WATCHING you!!!
And, to paraphase Robin Williams, Babies represent their parents greatest hopes and fears-- "I'd like to thank my parents and the Nobel Prize Board..." or "You want fries with that?".
Enjoy your children and remember that they will, hopefully, bring you your greatest joy-- grandchildren!!!
Timely Regards,
ww

Hi,
*******************
Children are just like watches. They are a measure of time.
In your "younger" years, without children, one day turns into the next, one month, one year it sort of goes by with no real notice (at least early on). Once children are present though, you have a measure of time. It becomes very clear that one year, two years, three years have gone by.
*******************
I am finally getting a chance and 2 minutes.
Typing with one hand and a sleeping "little Joe" in the other.
I want to thank everyone for their wishes an regards. This is our second (child) son and this train ride is going smoothly!
Best regards & wishes from Germany
Louis
