Janna, Your watch is what is called a "Dollar Watch" mfg by the New Haven Watch and Clock Company. These are unjeweled watches. They are not dated or serial numbered on the movement, so there is no way to be concise on the year of mfg. The style of the case generally gives an indicator of the time period of mfg. If the crown (the winding knob) is right on the top of the case, not on a long pendent, that is generally an indicator that the watch was made in the 1930's or later. I have seen a number of New Haven that are marked with "compensated". Mine are from the 1950's. New Haven went out of business in 1956. New Haven made some interesting watches and they are a decent dollar watch. Enjoy your watch.
