Sounds like a nice watch. Hamilton seemed to have made a number of private labels with markings similar to yours. I particularly like the ones with RR associated markings such as R.R. Standard, Railroad Special and Railway Special. If you get a chance, I would appreciate getting the serial number of your 941.

Any chance of some scans?

hi rhet many thanks for info on reed and coles will help alot. as a complete computer berk i would probably end up sending scans to mars or further. if you look on billy longs website at long time watches you will see allthe fotos of the watch listed as No 658 in his sold items. the serial no is
sn 109024.the watch is absolutely pristine. i would much appreciate your comments on the watch which is my first purchase of the hamilton genre.
i am also looking for a photo of the watch used in the film some where in time which i believe is owned by a mr art zimmerman. any info on this would be great.many thanks
