CS,
The Swiss cases are generally not thick enough, the diameters are incorrect, the KW holes do not line up, and SW arbors do not fit.

Charlie,
No, I just know watch sizes very well. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY I do not believe in recasing or casing up stuff incorrectly. I'd rather use a glass back or leave the "rare" mov't in a plastic mov't holder or tin.
BUT, more importantly, in order to "switch" ones mov't into another case (cased watch) YOU DESTROY THE ORIGINALITY OF THE OTHER WATCH (one right and one wrong=two wrongs)! Sin sin!
Last add, even if something fits and lines correctly (CF. early Howard and Waltham KWs)-it IS NOT AN ORIGINAL WATCH-just a watch recased or "switched" to an original-----(whatever) case.
