"Brittens" ninth edition lists Frederic Japy,B.1749-D. 1813;Beaucourt;patentee machinery to produce parts of watches by unskilled labor,apparently first watch factory system.Founded Japy freres,branches France,Switzerland,England.
Maybe he made the parts for your watch.

Not sure but I think it is Japy's Brothers
Japy Freres (brothers in English) was the most prolific maker of the round "pendule de Paris" clock movements found on French marble, bronze, and spelter clocks of the 1840 - 1920 period. I didn't know they branched out into the watch field.
