Slow down, take a deep breath .... rome was not built in a day... many here have been searching for the 'answers' for years !!!!
Many of these items are aged... and people have been curious about them for a long time.
and sometimes you find there is no 'answer'...
Search these forums with the search engine... there is usually something there...
Start a reference library... some books have been suggested in other posts... stay in it for the long haul...

ALL - Welcome to the NAWCC MB.
I see a couple of new posters here within the last week, which is great, but Terry makes a very important point here - we have an incredible amount of information established on this message board and all the tools required in order to find it. So PLEASE, for the benefit of all, use our "Advanced Search" feature, locate the info you need, and if you have any additional questions, please addend to the relevant thread.
Thank you.
Regards,
Bryan

Another easy way to find out the models of your Waltham watches is to use the Serial Number link accessible from the NAWCC Information Storage (http://www.nawcc-info.org/WalthamDB/walsernum.htm) website. Commas should not be used in entering the serial number.

I'm still relatively new here, and to pocket watch collecting/repair in general.
I can't begin to tell you how many questions I've had answered simply by searching on here. There's a huge amount of helpful information buried in the archives.
Most any question I've had, I've found the answer(plus a whole lot more relevant information) by searching in the archives.
