My birthday was the 10th so i went to call a guy i know has clocks and i was originally going to come home with a black mantle clock, instead i came home with this nice vienna regulator and a 400 day clock with a disk pendulum, not bad for 300 for the both of them i would say. 400 day will be pictured later. Any ideas on the age of this? i tried to get a good pic of the insignia on the back of the movement. The top i dont think is original but for $150 for the clock im not complaining

Happy belated birthday, Ryan!
You made a great purchase. I believe the maufacturer was Endler, but am not sure. I will do a little searching on Endler.
Regards.

Hi Ryan, Happy Birthday! (Mine was the 2nd) but I'm much older than you:)
Can't tell from your trademark picture but if that is HE Co inside the oval your clock is made by H. Endler & Co. ( According to Kochmann).
Nice clock and great deal for the price. I agree that the top does not go with your clock.
Best,
Richard T.

Buck anda haff? I'll buy one every day for that. A complete movement, weight, crank, pulley, and pendulum is worth that.
Age? 1900 to 1910 - Altdeutsch style. Adjustable pallets with a brass pallet body? Yep. Thot so.
Top piece is very nice but is from an earlier Vienna period.
Frohliche Geburtstag! Jawohl.

Thank you to all who have replied, this came with everything but a crank but did have a key so better than the usual nothing for keys. Here are pics of the 400 day clock, the pendulum is in pieces, i got eager to clean this up.

Yeah, I realized almost immediately that I'd looked at it with crossed eyes:stupid:. I deleted the post to avoid confusion. Nice thing about being a moderator is that you can also moderate yourself.
