I've been to various antique "show and sale" events, as I was once an antique dealer specializing in glass. I've never attended a local show that focused on timepieces, and was wondering if there is such a thing. I live in the Philadelphia area and would be interested in any links anyone has regarding such shows.

Reading this message board and doing some searching on my own has peaked my interest in this hobby. I've tinkered with clocks, but never really paid much attention to watches before.

Thank you,
Bob

Hi Bob:

Philadelphia is the home of NAWCC Chapter #1 (http://www.adamsbrown.com/chapter1/). As the link shows, the next meeting is December 11. Check with the chapter officers for the next one after that.

Please notice that NAWCC Membership (http://www.nawcc.org/headquarters/members/join.htm) is required for entry into the Mart (the sales/trading area). Of course being a member has many Benefits (http://www.nawcc.org/headquarters/members/Meminfo.htm).

Good luck,

Robert M.

Bob,I'm a member of Chapter #1 and as Kent mentioned we do have a mart scheduled for Dec.11th.Our marts are probably better than a lot of the regionals around the country due to the size of our membership.I would highly recommend that if you are not already a member of the NAWCC and Chapter #1 you would be doing yourself a disservice by not joining. Not only will you have the opportunity to attend the half dozen or so marts that we offer every year but as Kent stated the other benefits are too numerous to mention.C'mon aboard,we would love to have you and your family as members.
We hope to see you Dec.11 at King Of Prussia,We know you'll enjoy it.
Respectfully,Bob Fullerton
