The following business is being considered in the October 2009 Electronic Meeting of the NAWCC Board of Directors:
MOTION: Made by Treasurer McIntyre and seconded by Secretary Overton: Resolved, whereas it has been recommended by the Chapter Relations Committee and requested by several chapters, that the NAWCC, Inc. apply for Group Exemption on behalf of interested chapters. Therefore, the Executive Director is hereby authorized to apply to the IRS for Group Exemption for those US chapters that want to be covered under the NAWCC's 501 (c)(3) exempt status. The Executive Director is authorized to put into service application requirements and protect the interest of the NAWCC, Inc. A nominal fee may be implemented to recover the cost of the application.
