According to Russ Snider's Illinois data base.
These watches had 7 runs in the serial numbers ranges of 1,645,981 -1,845,080 There were 470 made.
Yours was made in the first run of 1,645,981-1,646,000. 1902

According Dr.Russ Snyder database that i have:
Total productions of Sangamo Hunter 23 jewels 2735 made in 31 run of 4 Variants:
a) from serial 1,418,201 to 1,526,900 marked adjusted gold inlaid ribbon damaskeen.Total 750
b) from serial 1,603,001 to 1,645,980 marked adjusted bright spotted damaskeen pattern.Total 305
c) from serial 1,645,981 to 1,845,080 marked adjusted 6 positions isochronism bright spotten damaskeen pattern.Total 470
d)from serial 1,977,601 to 2,481,060 marked adjusted 6 positions isochronism and Double Roller bright spotten damaskeen pattern.Total 1210
Now my watch with serial 1,645,985 should have the markings "Adjusted six positions isochronism" but it does not, beeing just marked "Adjusted".Is it possible that the addition of markings "6 positions isochronism" occurred immediatly after my watch serial numbers?
Thank you.

Believe me... what was written in the 1985 Volume 2 book is not gospel...
The run ranges were an approximation (Russ reported to me once Bill stated this)... and this information is what Russ had to work with when developing the CD... and we have discovered many many many changes over the years...
and there will be more.
The data from your example can help update the information...
as to the marking... there are no records to prove 'when' the movement was finished... it could have sat in the inventory, then finished at a later time when the markings had changed... and this is speculation at best... but all we know.
