I need some help in identifying this case's maker. It houses a Wm. Ellery, 8s, movement that looks to be original to the case. Would also like to know if the case is solid, or filled. I am enclosing a couple of photos. Thanks for any help forthcoming.

Hi Leghorn,
Per another current Message Board thread, "What does the eagle hallmark on an A.W.Co. case mean?," eagle markings were not unique to a specific case maker. They signified only that the maker either was, or was claiming to be, American. Not all American cases, even quality American cases, carried maker's marks. That said, it is possible that specific variations of the eagle marking might conceivably be unique to particular case makers. However, I am aware of no such information.

Hi Clint
Thanks for the reply. I read the other thread on A.W.Co. The serial number on the movement is, 1,158,918. A KW & KS. Am enclosing a pic of the movement.
