The NAWCC Rocky Mountain regional is being held in Denver on August 3rd and 4th. Here are some of the events that are in the works.

A display of rare and important Chronometers, Tools and Rare Watches and Clocks.

Tentative presentations include ones about Chronometers and Railroad Watches.

A rare viewing of scarce American watches, movements, dials and ephemera, such as some Aurora, Rockford, Waltham and Elgin stuff will be held for members of NAWCC Chapter 174 at the home of a local collector. It will be an evening event and you can expect free beer and Mexican food.

A significant number of members of the highly exclusive Earnshaw Society will be at the regional.

There will also be members of the Rockford Watch Guild, Horological Ephemera Collectors of America, Society of Minor American Watch Co. Collectors, Consortium of American Movement Collectors, Fox Valley Watch and Clock Collectors Guild, Brotherhood of Railroad Watch Afficianados, Sisterhood of American Ladies Pocket Watch Horders, American 18 size Full Plate Collectors Troup (aka the Full-of-themselves club), Elgin Veritas Truth Patrol, and other groups in attendance.

Email me for details.

Greg

Greg,

WOW! Sounds like an event that watch and clock collectors world-wide should plan to attend! I know I've already marked my calendar. Beer and Mexican food? Rare timepieces? Will there be a dress rehearsal?

Only 5 months!

Larry

The St. Vrain chapter of Hellraisers and Horologists will be there in full force. Will any of the speakers be identified soon???

As I mentioned on the Chapter 174 notice about this event, I am a little concerned about the procedure for becoming a sister. http://www.nawcc.org/ubb/eek.gif

Larry,

Only the Sisterhood requires dresses.

Greg

P. S. Tom, cross dressing (but not surgery) is required for Sisterhood (or so I'm told, the Amazons who run the SALPWH are rarely seen. Or are they wood nymphs? I don't know.)

Greg,

Awesome Gnarly Dude!

I even heard, world-renowned contributors to the NAWCC Massage Board will be signing autographs. Are those the sisters Tom's asking about??
