I was just wondering if anyone had any info on this particular gold, ladies, pocket watch. I have one, in excellent condition, but cannot find anything on the web about it. I needed to know the value of it for insurance purposes. Thanks all, a newby!

Welcome, Lady Dy!

If you can post photos of the movement, case and any markings inside the case covers, I'm sure someone here can tell you about your watch. However, board rules prohibit discussion of values.

According to the "Gold Book' by Ehrhardt & Meggars, Betsy Ross was a name used by the United States Watch Co., of Waltham, Mass. (not the United States Watch Co. of Marion, N J.) According to the Gold Book, it is an "0" size, hunting case model 1, of 3/4 plate design. That much I can tell you, but price is not discussed on this MB. Please check the heading at the top of this page.

Hey thanks everybody! I have since learned that is was indeed made by the US Watch company. I am new to this site, and I am still learning the rules...Gosh, what friendly people ya'll are! I found the serial number, was made in 1903, I at least got that down. Thanks everyone, this is an awesome site!
