What kind of case is this?

It has a symbol of a star, and below that it says S.W.C.CO. 6234969, and it has the word Scepter inside of a symbol?

I can't seem to find it in the trademark list.

Is it gold filled, and if it is, what karat?

I believe that Star used "Scepter" for both a gold-filled or a rolled gold plate case.
