I'll try this again. When I made the initial post I could not add any attachments. We will see if it works now.
Just finished the restoration on this Waltham Model 1892, S/N 10,099,682. Its a 21 jewel double roller, lever set movement that does not have a grade name or number on it, only "A. W. W. Co.". It has gold jewel settings and balance screws but does not have diamond endstones.
According to Ehrhardt this is one of 100 made, but the Grey book lists the run as being 75 pieces, 10,099,626 - 10,099,700. However there may be another run that I haven't located yet.
It has an unusual "swirl" damaskeen pattern, perhaps it was made as a special order?
It is housed in a Fahys Junior grade 4 Oz. Coin silver pair case, which I do not think is original, as there is (only) one additional screw mark in the case.
I would appreciate any comments or additional information about this movement.

Ed-There are 2 other serial numbers in the database from the above mentioned run; 10099659 a Sidereal and 10099676 which is the same as your photo. I also have s/n 15126380 as being "American Waltham Watch Co." but it was reported by someone and I don't have a photo to verify what it is. The Sidereals are marked "A.W.W. Co." but in a different font. Because of the presence of the Sidereal in this run, my guess would be that there are fewer than 100 (Ehrhardt's number) and fewer than 75 (the number in the run). There are other runs that contain "Specials" that sometimes have more than 2 varieties so who knows? It is an unusual movement and a definet keeper.
Hope this is helpful, Jim
