Muckle 18s and 16s

The 18 size is more common. In fact, I do not recall ever seeing one in 16 size, although they might exist.
These cases were made in the 1880s, before the 16 size started becoming popular.

16 size Muckles do exist. Have seen a few and still have one 16 size Rockford in Muckle case. Have posted pix of it some time ago.

Mostly I've seen dome model Rockfords or early model Elgins in the 16 size Muckle cases.

But I do see the 18 size Muckle's more often.

This one is a sixteen size Elgin. Movement is not that great but, I'll do some work and get it back in shape. I'll post some pics when I recieve it.
