I need info about Fahys Monarch Coin Watch

I have a Fahys Monarch Coin Silver Pocket watch given to me by my father. It was originally my great grand fathers and I am trying to find out as much information about the watch as possible. It has the name JF Schmitt, St. Louis, MO on the watch as well as the number J4020. I am unable to locate the number of Jewels or when the watch was made.

Any information or direction will be greatly appreciated

It appears you have a private label watch (one engraved with a jeweler or other person's name).

Fahys only made your watch case and not your movement (the works).

You will have to post a picture of the movement in order for us to identify the maker.
