I have two Elgin Father Time 18 size watches. The one watch is pictured here.
The other one which I don't have a picture of has the serial no., and the words ADJUSTED, SAFETY PINION, Father Time, 21 JEWELS, and ELGIN, ILL. USA in gold color. The one with the gold lettering is ser. no. 11040555.
Did Elgin switch to the gold lettering on later runs of the 18 size Father Time?
