Hi all, my daughter has lumped me with the task of finding movement for her first two clocks (picture links below). The first is a New Haven #52 tambour mantel clock. The case is empty, no movement or chime/coil. So I am not sure what type of movement this should have. Can anyone tell me and supply a picture so I know what to look for?
The second is a Sessions 'Dulciana'
that has had the back plate removed and the plate and all loose parts are missing. I am not familiar with this movement as it is a double hammer type and I have only worked on the normal single hammer version. Can anyone tell me if the single and double Sessions movements are interchangeable, as I am not having much luck finding a double hammer version?

The New Haven would have (more than likely) had a movement just like mine. The dial is the same, and it's about the same style and age:

I believe I've seen the Dulciana fairly often on eBay, perhaps do a search and have a look. I can't be much more helpful with that clock.

That is a fairly typical movement called "bim-bam" by sellers. You can probably pick up just the movement on Ebay. (I'm refering to the Sessions). You should not have to pay more than about $30.00

Thanks Sooth and Bill, now I know what I am looking for.
shutterbug, I will give ebay a try, I might have better luck searching under bim-bam!
Cheers
