I just picked up # 3,399,330 off of the 'bay. Now lives in MI.
If I could just figure out how to set the time now...........

1883 model Waltham freaks.................
another project!
Shall we begin a listing of dealer names for these and post results on our Chapter 149 message board for the Waltham and 1883 research committee? Steve Mercer--would you like to be the recording secretary?
Is you recent buy a private label?
If you're referring to mine (vice Steven's), it has no name on the dial. Key wind, but I don't see a lever to allow me to set it, and all my other pocket watches are stem wind and set. Would love to know what I need to do.

A keywind should have a square arbor at the center of the hands. Just use the key to turn the hands.

Thanks! I was worried that would harm something. Sometimes the obvious solution is the right one, huh?
