Sound Bend Hands for 429

Hi,

i have an South Bend 429 that needs hands. Since this model seems a bit bigger than normal 12 size watches my question is: can normal 12 size south bend watch hands be used for this?

I found some and if i understand right the sizes from them are 15.3 for the hour hand and 20.55 for the minute hand.

The South Bend catalog lists the following part numbers for 12s hands. No distinction is made among grade which makes me think that they are probably all the same length:


215326 - spade hour, whip minute, purple
115326 - spade hour, whip minute, blue
35326 - moon hour and minute, blue

I have a couple of 115326 hour hands NOS and they are measuring roughly 14mm from the center of the hole to the tip of the hand. Is this how you are measuring?
