Hermle 350 020

Having replaced the main springs in a Hermle 350 020 movement, reassembled the music box, set the timing. Upon activiting the movement on the hour, the cam does not lock and the chime moves on to the half hour lock. I'm missing something, but can't figure out why it won't lock on the quarter hour. Any ideas.

Having replaced the main springs in a Hermle 350 020 movement, reassembled the music box, set the timing. Upon activiting the movement on the hour, the cam does not lock and the chime moves on to the half hour lock. I'm missing something, but can't figure out why it won't lock on the quarter hour. Any ideas.

In setting the chime:
1. set the warning wheel pin at the 12:00 position.
2. Loosen the chime lock cam and lock it against the chime lock lever and tighten.
3. Loosen the quarter hour cam and rotate it until the chime pin falls into the 1st qtr. slot and tighten
4. Adjust the chime roll until it has jsut done the "rundown" of hammers 1-2-3-4 in sequence.
